RPS PaintTrack is an inline paint viscosity monitoring and control system designed to deliver consistent paint quality and precise color control across the entire coating process. By continuously monitoring viscosity in real time, RPS PaintTrack enables automated control from incoming paint through spraying, eliminating manual sampling and reducing variability, waste, and rework.

PaintTrack Overview
The RPS PaintTrack is a complete inline paint viscosity and color control solution built around Rheonics’ industry-leading SRV viscometer. It continuously measures paint viscosity with high accuracy and stability, enabling automated control throughout the paint ecosystem.
The system supports rapid setup of stored paint jobs defined by the operator, allowing repeat orders to be executed with minimal setup time and no trial-and-error adjustments.
By maintaining viscosity within tight tolerances, PaintTrack ensures consistent color quality while optimizing the use of pigments and solvents. This Rheonics solution is suitable for solvent-based, water-based, UV paints, and adhesives, and supports modern, connected paint shop environments.
The RPS PaintTrack’s ColorLock software is designed with a strong focus on operator usability while providing powerful control and analytics.
Operators can enable paint stations, select color IDs (such as Pantone), set viscosity targets, and activate automatic control with a single action. Viscosity setpoints, tolerances, color information, and job details are stored in configuration files that can be loaded for repeat paint orders.
How does it work?
PaintTrack operates as an integrated monitoring and control system designed to manage multiple paint tanks and paint lines from a single central console.
Inline SRV sensors measure paint viscosity in tanks and/or lines.
Sensor signals are processed by the PaintTrack controller.
ColorLock software monitors and controls viscosity in real time.
Solvent or water addition is adjusted automatically via control valves.
All job parameters and results are stored for traceability and repeat orders.
