DTCM

DVM Thermal Control Module

  • Thermal chambers designed to be used with the DVM.
  • Uniform and controlled temperature around the DVM.
  • Compatible with E4: SME-BOX, Laptop, or PC.

DTCM Overview

DTCM was designed after extensive simulation and testing to ensure uniform temperature distribution across the DVM sensor; thanks to it, the DTCM is used to heat a fluid sample at different controlled temperature points or a temperature ramp and take accurate, repeatable, and reliable viscosity and density measurements.

DTCM also enables HPHT (High-Pressure High Temperature) static fluid analysis with DVM connected to an external high pressure pump in field and mobile units without compromising the integrity of data, such as PVT tests for oil and gas industries.

DTCM-PL

DVM Thermal Control Module - Solid State TCM Version

DTCM-PL is an all-in-one version designed to control the temperature without an external heat source within a limited temperature range (10°C below ambient to 150°C). Its small size (smaller than a Neo Espresso machine) makes it perfect to be used in small setups.

DTCM-BB

DVM Thermal Control Module - Bath Based

DTCM-BB ensures thermal uniformity around the DVM using an external bath temperature source. It’s mostly used, when a wide temperature range, which can’t be met by the DTCM-PL, is required.

DTCM Software

All the DTCM variants include a specific software designed by Rheonics to control the temperature profiles, ramps, or points where the customer wants to take the measurements. As well, this software records all the data obtained by the DVM sensor and displayed in a nice view for easy understanding or to be processed by the operators.

STCM

Take a sample from the process and measure the viscosity and/or density of the fluid. Control the fluid’s temperature and maintain it thermally uniform around the sensor’s sensing element with the built-in heating and cooling module or through an external bath source.

STCM-IFP

STCM-IFP

Integrate the device directly in a bypass line for static viscosity analysis. A dedicated valve controls the intake of new fluid samples, while an integrated solid-state module provides active heating and cooling for precise fluid temperature control.
