Metal Seal Weldolet for G1/2” Type-SR sensor probe - HAW-12G-MTK

G1/2 thread weldolet for flush installation of Rheonics SRV and SRD sensors
Rheonics HAW-12G-MTK weldolet for thick walls and metal to metal seal.

Description

Rheonics HAW-12G-MTK accessory is a weldolet adapter for the SRV and SRD sensor probes with 1/2” G thread (-X1-12G). These weldolets are designed for a flush installation in pipe or tank walls while ensuring the sensing element is fully immersed in the flow. This adapter has a metal-to-metal seal.

Why use this part?

  • Use this part for flush installation in line or tank, this means no dead zones are created.

  • Avoid stagnation zones around the sensing element.

  • Use for installation in walls with a max. thickness of 10mm. For thicker walls a cut in the wall is required to mantain the limit thickness.

Installation instructions

  • Weld according to ANSI/AWS D10.4 recommendation standard for Austenitic Stainless Steel pipes.
  • Suitable for SRV and SRD sensors.
  • Weld for wall thinner than 10mm.

  • Recommended position of the weep hole at the lowest point or drainable orientation.

  • For SRD, G1/2” installation is only recommended for applications where fluid is at the same or near the ambient temperature. Read more here.

  • Recommended torque for Type-SR probe installation in weldolet is 18 Nm.
  • Pressure rating is limited by sensor probe specifications and welding.
