Description

Rheonics HPT-SRV is a high-pressure and temperature flow cell for the SRV inline viscometer with 3/4” NPT connection. Pressure is rated for up to 10,000 psi (690 bar). Inlet and outlet ports have a 9/16”-18 UNF thread connection.

Why use this part?

  • For high-pressure and temperature applications.

  • Great solution for installation in DN5 to DN25 pipes.

  • For bigger pipes where a by-pass is needed.

  • Designed to ensure optimum contact of the fluid with SRV sensing element.

Installation instructions

  • Suitable only for SRV with 3/4” NPT threaded connection. Probe and flow cell may be rated for different pressure limits, so verify the ordered probe’s pressure rating.
  • Use proper PTFE tape sealing for NPT sensor connection.

  • Consider a tilted installation for drainage and cleanability.

  • Recommended flow direction is labeled on surface but can be reversed.

  • Recommended inlet/outlet adapters: Gland 9/16″-18 UNF and Collar for 1/4″ OD Tube, e.g. 60-2HM4 and 60-2H4 from HiP or other suppliers. Adapters are not included in the delivery of the flow cell.
