Overview

Everything you need to measure, in one enclosure

The SME-BOX is our electronics designed for lab environments. It combines an industrial computer, configured sensor electronics, and our standard Rheonics software according to your application.
For operation, power the SME-BOX with either 110VAC or 220VAC and connect the sensor to the sensor input. Once the system has power, the computer will boot automatically and be operational. In case you need to access the computer, use the USB/RJ-45 Port or HDMI connections. This product is compatible with different communication protocols to easily integrate with different systems such as RS-485, RS-232, Wi-Fi, etc.

How does it work?

E4 SME-BOX operates as an integrated system combining sensor hardware, control electronics, and advanced software analytics.

Step 01

Connect the sensor

Using the sensor cable, connect your Rheonics probe to the M12 sensor input on the E4.

Step 02

Power on

110 / 220 V AC via the supplied adapter — the PC boots automatically.

Step 03

Measure

Read viscosity, density and temperature on-screen in the Rheonics software.
