Impact Shield for SR-Sensors - IMS-SR
Description
Rheonics IMS-SR accessory is used to protect the SR-Sensor’s (SRV and SRD) probe, from any impact in installations where the connector is susceptible to damage. In EX installations, it is mandatory to protect the connector if exposed to potential damage. This accessory is suitable for SRV and SRD all variants except for Slimline Probes (X6) and Reactor Probes (X7) Version.

Why use this part?
- Protect the M12 connectors of the SR- sensors (SRV and SRD) from any impact.
- In EX installations, it is mandatory to protect the connector if exposed to potential damage.
Installation instructions
Step 1:
Thread the sensor cable to the M12 sensor probe connector.
Drawing example to the right uses an SRD-X1-34N probe, but steps are applicable for all other variants compatible with the IMS-SR.
Step 2:
Insert the IMS-SR into the back end of the probe.
Step 3:
Place the worm-drive clamp, covering both the IMS-SR and sensor probe. Properly adjust it to ensure the correct fixation of the accessory.
Step 4:
Your sensor probe is ready to be installed inline.
